Studio Info Paula's School of Baton will begin it's 27th year in Mount Joy. Under the direction of Paula McAdoo, the school offers baton twirling at all levels, for ages 3 and older. Pom Pom, Tap, Hip Hop, Stretch/Flexibilty and Lyrical classes are also offered. The school also has a competition team, which consist of children ages 3 and older, to compete in Drum Majorettes of America's local, state, regional and national competitions. Private lessons are also available for children who wish to compete individually throughout the year.

Events Paula's School of Baton has won many awards throughout the past 27years. The school participates in several parades, holiday mini shows, spring shows and a year end recital in May, "Spring Showcase 2012".The school has participated in many public appearances and competitions.  Drum Majorettes of America hosted it's National Finals at Gardner Webb University in July ,the Juvenile Twirl Team, Senior.Strut Team and Senior Twirl Team all won first place national honors. In addition to the national wins, the Senior Strut Team won Outstanding Strut Team and the SeniorTwirl Team was awarded Outstanding Twirl Team for the 5th consecutive year. March 17,2012.

OUR STAFF: Paula McAdoo, Jamie Ober and Erin Moore, DMA Gold Seal Judges and Teachers, teach all competititve teams and private students. Cortney Trissler will return from her studies at Broadway Dance Center NYC to teach several dance classes,tumbling classes and assist with our competitive teams.   Jeni Hlubny, will teach  our school's lyrical, tap and stretch classes and private students. Erin Schlotthauer, will be teaching all baton and pom classes, on all levels. Kristen Smith will return to choreograph all private students' dance routines. REGISTRATION can be done by phone, 653-8519 or by filling out the CONTACT US page, here on the web. The school's programs , consist of 45 minute classes each week, at a monthly rate of $30.00. Multiple classes and siblings, will be eligible for a discount monthly rate. The school has had many individual national level winners as well. This year, the school was proud to have several national winners at DMA's Fall Classic,Mini National and National competition.
